The Center Field on the lawn at Field and Fair Day is home to a ton of fun for children of all ages! Starting at 6 a.m., the RE/Max Hot Air Balloon will begin preparation for its 7 a.m. launch! After the launch, at 7:30 a.m., the crowd will gather at Center Field to warm up with Jazzercise for Lodi Health’s one-mile Walk with A Doc, led by Drs. LaViola, Hilton and Fahey! At 8 a.m. the Obstacle Course full of twists and turns, will open until the end of the event at noon. At 9:00 a.m. the ever popular Lodi Police Department K9 Demonstration will entertain both children and adults alike with their incredible skills. And who doesn’t love a great water balloon toss? We do! So line up at 9:15 a.m. to test your balloon tossing skills. Then at 9:30 a.m. the Lodi High Cheer squad will take the field for a tumbling good time, followed by the Lodi High Drill at 10:15 a.m. Our final performance at Center Field will be the athletes from Cutting Edge Martial Arts for an exciting demonstration.
Our South Field will also feature activities for all ages! We have recruited two local soccer enthusiasts and friends of the Square to teach kids tips, tricks and run drills! We are also thrilled to have 3 on 3 basketball games and HORSE for the teenager and kids who want to shoot some hoops!
As you can see, we have a little bit of fun for everyone! So please join us on Monday, September 5, 2016 at 6:00 a.m. for Lodi’s favorite Labor Day tradition…Field and Fair Day!
