Wow! We have some great performers lined up for this year’s Field and Fair Day on Monday, September 7 at Hutchins Street Square! To launch the day, our local firefighters will raise the flag and the National Anthem will be sung by local talent Davis Mahoney. Next up is an adorable performance by Kids in Tune led by Beth Fox! We will also highlight the Tiny Tot Tap class at Hutchins Street Square… they are guaranteed to make you smile! Travis Vega, Lodi’s favorite local guitarist will give us a 15 minute performance of his favorite tunes and there will be a live, one hour demonstration by the WOW Science Museum. They have packed the house the last two years, so don’t miss out. Our last performers are no stranger to the stage– we are bringing back the winners of Lodi’s Got Talent for an encore performance at Field and Fair Day!
And because we can’t fit everyone on the stage, we will also showcase some of Lodi’s other talented performers on center field. The Cutting Edge Martial Arts demonstration and Impact Sports performance will blow you away! New this year, is the Dairy Council of California’s Mobile Classroom Presentation…highlighting how to milk a cow and the process of how the milk ends up at the grocery store! We will also have an entertaining performance by Lodi High’s Drill Team. To cap off the day, we are bringing back an old Field and Fair Day tradition…the Mokelumne Mounties. Their ten-person drill team will perform at center field in full costume and put on a show! If you haven’t ever seen them, come on down to Field and Fair Day and check them out.
A huge thank you to our local sponsor MCV Insurance Producers and Jeni Elson for organizing all of the amazing talent in Lodi! For more information please contact the Foundation office at 209.366.1222 or stay tuned to this blog!
